One-way flow
Material enters on one side and leaves on the other. Only empty trays come back.
Campus
We plan one campus where boards are made, tested and qualified, and where people are trained. Phase 1 is about 120 acres. At maturity, in Phase 3, the campus grows to about 544 acres.
Everything on this page is planned. Nothing here is built yet.
Three phases
The campus grows only when the last phase has shown its evidence.
| Phase | Land | What it adds | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Phase 1 · Foundation | About 120 acres | Core HDI manufacturing, R&D and quality labs, trade logistics, academy and offices, central utilities, green belt | Planned |
| Phase 2 · Scale | Set at a stage gate | More HDI lines, a supplier park, a larger academy, renewable energy, IC substrate work moving towards production | Planned |
| Phase 3 · Mature | About 544 acres | Up to eight core HDI blocks, packaging and module assembly, a test and validation centre, housing, sports and wellness, a wider green belt | Planned |
Phase 2 has no fixed size yet. It grows step by step, as demand and the stage gates allow.
Zones
Each zone has one job. Material moves one way through the campus. Visitors stay away from truck routes.
| Zone | What goes there | Phase 1 (acres) | Mature plan (acres) |
|---|---|---|---|
| A · Core HDI manufacturing | Cleanrooms, laser vias, multilayer lamination, plating, test | 30 | 240 |
| B · Application pods | Pilot builds, packaging trials, inspection, stress screening | 20 | 100 |
| C · Common infrastructure | Roads, pipe racks, cable corridors, parking | 25 | 40 |
| D · R&D and quality | Reliability labs, failure analysis, metrology | 15 | 25 |
| E · Trade logistics | Receiving, bonded storage, kitting, dispatch | 10 | 20 |
| F · Academy and offices | Training blocks, labs, auditorium, administration | 8 | 15 |
| G · Utilities and water treatment | Substation, ultrapure water, gases, effluent treatment | 7 | 30 |
| H · Green belt and reserve | Planted buffers, gardens, land held for later | 5 | 30 |
The mature sizes add up to 500 acres. The full plan is about 544 acres. The extra 44 acres are held in reserve.
Core HDI manufacturing
Zone A makes HDI boards from raw laminate to tested, packed boards. The route runs in a straight line. Clean steps and chemical steps never cross. Each stage keeps a small buffer, so one stop does not stop the line.
| Parameter | Design target |
|---|---|
| Panel size | Up to 700 × 600 mm |
| Line width and space tolerance | ±25 µm |
| Laser microvia | 100 µm or less |
| Mechanical via | 0.10 to 0.30 mm |
| Layer-to-layer overlay | ±10 µm |
| Imaging, development and AOI rooms | Class 1K (ISO 6) |
| Coating, etching and stripping rooms | Class 10K (ISO 7) |
| Room conditions | 20 to 22 °C, 45 to 55% RH |
These are design targets, not proven capability. Each one is confirmed at qualification.
Design principles
Material enters on one side and leaves on the other. Only empty trays come back.
Cleanrooms sit under positive pressure. Chemical areas have their own exhaust and scrubbers.
Guided vehicles, overhead transfer and high-bay storage move panels, so people supervise rather than carry.
The campus is modelled before it is built, and the model is kept up to date as it runs.
Each panel and lot carries a code, from incoming laminate to the packed box.
Academy and people
The academy sits on the visitor side of the campus. It trains people for each station before that station opens.
Courses cover cleanroom behaviour and gowning, ESD, chemical safety, board acceptability and statistical process control. In Phase 3, housing, sports and wellness grow around the academy.
Green campus
The campus is planned to look after its air, water and neighbours.
Stage gates
Eight project gates run from strategic approval to commercial operations. A gate closes only when its evidence exists. See Programmes for the gates.
The site is chosen at its own gate. We publish it only when it is confirmed.
What we keep for members
We do not publish the site location, land records or financial figures on this website. The full masterplan, zone specifications and drawings are in the members library.
Planned supply hubs
The campus will be served by planned supply offices across India and hubs abroad, run partner first. From these hubs, qualified partners will serve HDI and semiconductor customers worldwide. The hub list is shared with members and partners.
Managed physically and digitally
The planned campus will be run from one digital view. Every zone, dock, machine, pallet, shipment and visitor pass will carry a tag. Scanning a tag opens its record. Sensors will report cleanroom conditions, utilities and energy. Visitors will be hosted and escorted, and kept off truck routes. Members will see the operations view after sign-in.
Planned places are not owned offices, plants or stores until they open and are checked.
Planned design views
These concept views show how the planned campus is laid out and how work flows through it. They are design views of a planned campus, not photographs of built or owned buildings.
Phase 1 of the campus covers about 120 acres in eight zones. Zone A, core HDI manufacturing, takes 30 acres; application pods take 20; common infrastructure 25; research and quality 15; trade logistics 10; the academy and offices 8; utilities and water treatment 7; and the green belt 5. Material moves one way through the campus, and visitors stay away from truck routes. At maturity the plan grows to about 544 acres.
Zone A, about 30 acres in Phase 1, makes HDI boards from raw laminate to tested and packed boards. The route runs in a straight line, so clean steps and chemical steps never cross. Each stage keeps a small buffer, so one stop does not stop the line. The mature plan allows up to eight such blocks.
Panels are drilled mechanically for through-holes and by laser for microvias, then cleaned and inspected before plating. Every panel carries a barcode, so each hole pattern can be traced to its machine and time.
Plating lays copper into the holes and onto the circuit pattern, in six steps from cleaning to unloading. Thickness and evenness are checked inline, and rinse water is cascaded to save water.
The last stage of Zone A: kitting, placement, soldering, inspection, functional test, clean packing and labelling. Each pack is labelled for traceability before it moves to finished goods.
Overhead transport, collaborative robots and automated guided vehicles move work between stations. Live screens show each line's status, so the team can act before a delay grows.
Inner layers are imaged and etched in a cleanroom with controlled air, temperature and humidity. Sensors will report cleanroom conditions to one digital view of the campus, so the team sees any change as it happens.
Zone D, about 15 acres in Phase 1, holds reliability laboratories, failure analysis and metrology. When built, every product line is planned to be tested and qualified here before customers receive it, and the same laboratories will support research with partners.
Zone F, about 8 acres in Phase 1, holds training blocks, laboratories, an auditorium and administration. People learn on the same processes the plant runs, so skills match the work from the first day.
The community hub brings together a student hub, a library and shared spaces, inside a campus planned for low-carbon operation. The green belt, about 5 acres in Phase 1, keeps planted buffers and gardens between the zones.
Zone G, about 7 acres in Phase 1, holds the substation, ultrapure water, process gases and effluent treatment. Water is treated and reused wherever the process allows, and energy and water use will be measured and reported.
